I am so honored that Nick and Sydney chose me to be their wedding photographer! I took photos of Sydney's sisters wedding last Spring, and I am always so happy to see familiar faces again!
On a complete side note: If you want to tip your photographer, the very BEST tip I can get is your reviews and referrals to friends and family! It helps me small business in amazing ways and I can't say THANK YOU enough to everyone who does this!
Back from that little side note, I talked to Sydney and she explained their's would be the first wedding scheduled at the brand new The Barn at Firestone Farms and that they'd like engagement photos take there too! Engagement photo day was a BIT cold, but I loved all the photos around the barn and pretty lake behind it! Nick and Sydney are fun and sweet, so I couldn't wait to work with them for their wedding too!
The day came and it was PERFECT! The weather was sunny and beautiful, I arrived and got photos of the venue which was decorated perfectly! I love the sage green color Sydney chose for her bridesmaids and accent color!
Sydney looked gorgeous, as I'm sure she always does! I loved her beautiful dress and her fun attitude towards everything and Nick looked so sharp in his tux!
Some of my favorite photos are with the barn in the background because their's was the first wedding there and how fun to be the first to have your wedding photos taken there! And one of my very favorite photos was their toast, because they both looked at each other, tapped glasses and laughed ( they didn't have a drink in their glass and they pretended, but I love those laughing photos of a funny moment! All of the food was delicious, and the veggie table that Bad Axe BBQ put together was so pretty! And OF COURSE, White House Fruit Farms Donuts are always a hit!
I really loved that their ceremony was kept intimate, and that they passed their rings around for their family and closest friends to pay over and bless, how amazing to start your time together with so many blessings from your loved ones!
