Calcutta, Ohio sunflower Engagement session
Taylor & Douglas' engagement session was the best!
We planned out their session, and since they had just moved into a new house they opted to get some photos on their property! Friends. It's gorgeous! I loved shooting there with amazing light! Taylor also mentioned once or twice that she loved sunflowers, and a local farm just happened to have them in bloom during their scheduled session date!
I love to shoot engagement sessions with my couples, it's great to have a relaxed shoot, get some great photos, but most of all I like getting to know them better! I try different poses, learn what poses they are comfortable in and that they ROCK, which helps so much on their wedding days!
Some of my favorite things about Taylor and Douglas' session:
- They both came out to greet my me and were so kind! They also apologized for their entourage! haha! Family that had come to hang out and help them get ready! Never be sorry for having so many people surrounding you that support and love you ( and maybe heckle a little too. haha)!
- I was so happy we were able to get sunflower photos in their session! I knew Taylor loved them and I was glad the stars aligned and we were able to get them! The light was also a little hazy and dreamy there, so, I mean. It was the perfect ending to a perfect shoot!
- My favorite photo was probably where I asked Doulglas to make Taylor laugh in the sunflowers! It was a fun moment!
