Sarah & Adam’s Wedding
I am so excited to be sharing more from Sarah and Adam’s wedding day! I loved so many things about this day and couple. The day ended up being a tad bit warm, close to 90 degrees, for their outdoor wedding, but it was blue skies and sunshine and we had a nice breeze in the shade. Who can really ask for anything more in Ohio?
Sarah had heard my name through a family member who had suggested looking at photos of mine from a past venue that she and Adam had considered. They didn’t decide on that particular venue, but did decide on me! Yay!! We met when the wedding was still a decent ways away, Sarah was completely on the ball, trying to get as much taken care of as she could ahead of time ( always a good idea when planning for a major event)! I got to spend some time with them at their engagement session in January at Sarah’s family farm, and got to meet some of her family, and really enjoyed myself! It went great (even without the snow we had been hoping for) and I looked forward to their day in June!
Time went fast, and before I knew it their day was here! I arrived earlier than usual that day, Sarah and Adam had decided to do a first look, where I take photos before the ceremony of the couple seeing each other for the first time. This was my first time shooting a first look and I was looking forward to capturing it! Most of their photos took place before the wedding, and it made for a much more relaxed day, and i would highly recommend it if you have been debating about it.
Sarah admittedly hates flowers, but her bouquet was gorgeous, and I love that her nephew gave her a bracelet to wear and she worked it into her bouquet! Flowers were done by Blossoms of the Village, and Tammy Knox did an amazing job with them and coordinating the day!
The beautiful bride..
And the handsome groom..
Mr. & Mrs. <3
The bridal party..
A few from their ceremony… The brides cousin played the harp beautifully! Nate Lockwood of Lockwood Studios was the videographer, and was very easy to work with and the bride has her wedding video already!
And the reception!
Sarah and Adam’s day fell on Adam’s parents anniversary, loved this!
These soap favors were pretty fun! Beer soap! Yes, beer! From Home Brewed Soaps.
One of my personal favorite details was this photo of my cousin, Jeremy. He passed away suddenly at 24 years old and very close to Sarah. She asked if I saw the photo and I said I had and she said “I wanted that photo here because he should’ve been here.”. <3 Sarah has a great heart!
And listen. We have to talk for a minute about this cake. It was beautiful, right? And made completely out of delicious cinnamon rolls, by The Das Dutch House Restaurant! So good!
Next are the dances! Bride & Groom, Father/Daughter, and Mother/Son! The whole wedding party joined Sarah and Adam a little ways into their song! The DJ Scott Hoopes did great work as well and communicated very well with me to let me know what was coming up when, something as a photographer I greatly appreciated!
Their parents also got to spend sometime on the dance floor in honor of Adam’s parents anniversary!
I hope you enjoyed looking through these photos of this special couple, I am so honored to have been apart of their day!
Sarah & Adam,
Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness, God Bless you on your future together!
